Race City Motorsport Park is located at 114 Ave. SE and 68 St. SE. From Deerfoot Trail (Highway #2) take the Barlow Trail North exit (South of Anderson Road), then take the next right onto 114 Ave. SE. Go East 3.2 KM to 68 St. SE and turn right. Why you should go... Located within easy driving distance of downtown Calgary, Race City Motorsport Park is another one of the few circuits in Canada to combine excellent spectator amenities with a challenging and exciting circuit for the racers. The start/finish grandstand offers a good view of all but the final few corners of the track, although spectating there denies fans the ability to appreciate some of the fast corners at the far end of the circuit. The start/finish grandstand does, however, provide an excellent view of the 'Bus Stop' chicane, where some of the key race moments take place. Race City's drag strip front straight places a premium on horsepower and this is a venue that tends to favour the bigger displacement machinery. |
