Calgary, Canada: 13 year Allyssa Fox, Fox Family RoadRacing and AMRA Protégé, took to the local track Varsity Speedpark on a Honda CBR125R. After a few warm up laps, Allyssa felt very comfortable on the race bike as she flowed through the tight hairpin and sweeping corners of her home track.

“I love the CBR125, it’s great to be back on the track!” stated Allyssa

Allyssa, daughter of Jay Fox AMRA President, essentially grew up at the race track. At age 7 she started riding in the Youth 7-10 class, progressing through the Youth 10-14 group and competing in the Women’s Class where in 2008 she achieved second place in the Canadian National Mini Roadracing Series.

In 2009 Allyssa chose to pursue the organizational side of motorsports becoming one of the primary volunteers in Registration and Timing and Scoring with the AMRA and the CNMRA with her mom Bernedette.

Allyssa plans for the 2010 season include competing at each Parts Canada Superbike Challenge in the Honda CBR125 Challenge.

Allyssa will make her 2010 Season Honda CBR125 Racing Debut at her home track in Calgary this weekend Sunday May 16 where she will compete on the CBR 125R. Then Monday evening with the AMRA in the Honda CBR125R race School. Then off to Mirabel!
